Employee Appreciation Day

Today at our company was Employee Appreciation day it was nice of them we had cappuccinos given to us. Unfortunately, the large amounts of caffeine that was ingested could have killed a small elephant. Until about lunch time there were people bouncing off the walls and also eating tree sap, don't ask. But with a great caffeine high comes a major caffeine crash. Let me tell you what, it was like jumping out a plane with out a parachute. One hell of a great rush but after awhile it is like hitting a brick wall. Once that wall was hit productivity dropped to zero. I almost feel out of my chair a few times from falling asleep, I mean i don't sleep at work. Oh and the pizza for lunch didn't help one bit. The lesson i learned was to pace myself with the caffeine. So I think going home, cashing my check, drinking a beer and sleeping sounds like a great idea.
